The ISSLS Research Grant is sponosored by Taisho Toyama Pharmaceuticals for US$20,000. The purpose of the award is to promote research in the lumbar spine. The research proposal can be in basic science, biomechanics, or clinical field. At least one investigator must be an ISSLS member. In 2018, ISSLS launched a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising US$1 Million over two years. Our aim is to provide seed research funding and travel grants to research trainees, young investigators and researchers from areas of the world under-represented in ISSLS.
